| Formal portraits |
| |
|
No problem. We'll do formal, too.
|
 |
|
But we'll do our best to make formal fun. |
| |
Who was it that decided formal meant stiff? Or stuffy? Or posed to death?
We don't know who it was, but we respectfully disagree.
Sure, we all have to dress up every now and again.
and sometimes we want to be photographed that way.
But honestly, now: is there any real reason we can't enjoy the process?

At Cherokee Rose Designs, we think formal should be fun.
After all, it's not really about the clothes or the hair
or the dress or the car or the date or the
flowers.
|
| |
 |
And believe it or not (you may want to sit down for this one...)
it's not even about the shoes.
Truth be told, it's not even about the actual event itself. Not really.
No, what it's really all about is the moment of magic.
It's about how all those outside trappings of formality make you feel.
Not the outside of you, but the inside.
Beautiful. Breathless. Enchanted. Excited.
Perfect. Just perfect.
|
 |
| |
And so what if we all turn back into pumpkins after midnight?
With the right photograph, you can get the magic back any time you want it,
faster than you can say "fairy godmother."
And we don't need glass slippers or morphing mouses
or even so much as a studio to make it happen for you.
All we need is you,
and the night,
and the magic that already lives inside you.
